In the third quarter of 2025, the performance of the top news and magazines applications on the Android platform in Hungary showcased varied trends, as reported by Sensor Tower.

X experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $2.8K in early August. Downloads peaked at 4.7K in mid-August, while active users fluctuated, reaching a high of 251.8K in early September.

Index.hu maintained consistent download numbers, with a significant spike to 1.1K in the week of September 15. Active users saw a decline over the quarter, starting at 13.4K and dropping to 8.9K by the end of September.

Substack had a fluctuating download trend, with a noticeable increase to 793 downloads in mid-July. Active users grew steadily throughout the quarter, ending at 5.8K.

Hindi News by Dainik Bhaskar showed a recovery in downloads after a dip in late July, reaching 417 in mid-August. Active users peaked at 9.8K in mid-August and stabilized around 8K by the end of the quarter.

Local Weather News - Radar demonstrated a steady increase in downloads through July, peaking at 314. Active users grew consistently over the quarter, finishing at 1.1K.
